WTIS observed that in today’s environment, many wholesale brokers are struggling to provide retailers with the service needed to best address their clients’ needs, while still attempting to generate adequate revenue and profitability to meet their own financial obligations. Consequently, the best brokers at many firms become more focused on chasing new business than providing client service. WTIS focuses its talent and resources on providing high level service to those retailers who are equally focused on maximizing efficiencies in their business and for their customers.
Traditional wholesale business turns over every 2-3 years. This approach has “costs” to wholesalers, retailers and specialty carriers in the form of wasted time, low productivity, low hit ratios, and lack of strategic thinking. Minimizing these “frictional costs” is at the core of the WTIS model, with resultant savings and efficiencies passed along to our retail brokers and their customers in the form of better placements and enhanced income.
WTIS brokers/employees are compensated as one team — unlike the traditional approach, with its silos of individual brokers incented to assist only on business deemed to be “theirs.” This means that our retail brokers receive a high-level of talent and expertise on every transaction, with expertise that is specific to their customers’ needs. WTIS has significant expertise in Property, Casualty and Professional/Management Liability.
